The Long Beach Resort is 31 privately rented cottages and suites, 14 cottages and 17 townhouse suites, spread along 750 feet of private Lake Erie beach that we rake every morning. The beach is for resort guests only, so the stretch of sand in front of your door stays quiet all week.
The shore here is famously shallow and warm. You can wade three hundred feet out and still be waist deep, which is why families have been coming back to Long Beach for generations. Every cottage and suite has air conditioning, heat and high-speed Wi-Fi that carries all the way to the sand, plus a bonfire pit, a charcoal BBQ, a picnic table and beach chairs of its own.

Rentals are only available for guests staying at Long Beach Resort. Minimum age 16 for paddle boards and kayaks, 21 for Sea-Doos.

Amazing experience. This is our second time here. Excellent location and white sandy beach. Rooms are comfortable with modern appliances. Water is shallow so it’s quite warm. Ahmet, the owner, is very friendly and responsive including the rest of the staff, especially Seiya. Highly recommend! We plan to make Long Beach Resort an annual summer getaway for our family!

We have stayed at Long Beach Resort twice now and we absolutely love it. We call it a hidden gem! The beach is the main character. The resort sits in a huge strip of white sand beach along Lake Erie with shallow, clear warm water. It’s fantastic for families because of how wide the beach is and how shallow the water is… In the summer, they have their coffee and gelato shop right on site and it’s 10/10.

Long Beach sits on the Wainfleet shoreline with eateries within walking distance and good trails for biking and nature walks right outside the gate.
Yes. All of the cottages and all of the suites have air conditioning and they also have heating. There are mini split ductless systems in each unit.
Suite 200, Cottage 14 and Cottage 16 have 2 bathrooms.
On occasion, we permit earlier check-ins and later check-outs depending on the availability of the unit.
Extended check-out for a fee can be requested on the evening before or the the morning of your check-out, but no sooner. The cost is 50% of the nightly rate + HST and you can stay until 6PM. But, the unit must be available for that option.
In some cases, we permit hypoallergenic dogs, but there are conditions.
There is a nightly fee of $100 + HST up to 3 nights. We do not charge more than $300 for the duration of the stay.
Support dogs are only permitted if they are hypoallergenic and meet the same conditions as outlined above. They are also subject to the fees above. Otherwise, although they may be support dogs, they will not be permitted.
Service dogs are permitted without fees but they must not be confused/mistaken with support dogs.
In every case, the guest must call/email before they arrive to speak with our staff about their specific pet in order to receive approval to bring them.
No, but there are several coin laundromats just a quick 10-minute drive in nearby Port Colborne.
Check-in is 2:00 PM, check-out is 10:00 AM, and the fire pit is yours every night in between.
